Big Instant Poker Win $171,241.80 - Astrology Case Study

Happy New Year 2018 and welcome to another post where I reverse engineer lottery winning play times in an effort to learn whether we can win more often at our favourite lottery games!

Today I'm going to start the new year off with a case study of a recent winner of a hefty instant pot for Instant Poker in Ontario. The details to the left are given by the OLG so this is what we'll use for setting up our play time chart as this is an instant win at the very moment the player plays their ticket.

Day:  Sunday, December 31, 2017
Time:  11:58 am
Place:  Hamilton, Ontario [not me ): ]
Instant win of $171,241.80

Someone got a great start to their 2018!  Let's get to the chart so that we can figure out what tips we might learn to improve our own play times.

Chart is courtesy of Astrodienst, where you can find amazing astrology charts free, along with many other astrological services and tools; best free astrology site in the world.

One of my main theories for the last year or more is that the Ascendant (ASC) or its ruler (us, the lottery player) needs to have some connection to the 8th house of other peoples' money. That's what we are essentially winning - the money of all of the other lottery players. If a benefic is involved, so much the better. Let's take a look.

ASC ruler is Mars and he is very nicely placed in his own sign of Scorpio (and Mars ruling both the ASC and the 8th house cusp).  While Mars is technically in the 7th house, he is in the sign that rules the 8th house, Scorpio, and so in the domain of the 8th house ruler. I would consider Mars here to be in the 8th house as well.  This gives us two connections from the ASC to the 8th house (same ruler, and that ruler in 8h domain).

ASC ruler Mars is quite lucky as he has a sextile to benefic Venus, applying conjunction to bigger benefic Jupiter, and a square to the North Node.  Applying to three benefics!

Next, let's look at Part of Fortune (POF) which I consider to be an important player. POF is in Virgo, and just gone into Saturn Terms.

POF ruler Mercury is in 9th house in Sagittarius so no dignity strength there, but Mercury is in its own Terms, with a square to POF itself.

POF Term ruler Saturn has just gone into its own sign of Capricorn, and in Venus Terms, in the 9th house.  Saturn has strength in its own sign (and likely something marginal being in a Venus Term) but not much else happening.

POF also has a nice sextile to bigger benefic, Jupiter, sitting on the 8th house cusp.  Watch for similar 8th house cusp benefic activity.

Saturn is ruler of the 11th house (I consider 11th house to represent the institution OLG) and has an aspect (semi-square) to 8th house ruler Mars so we see an 11-8 connect.  When I first started studying money winning astrology charts, connections between 5-8-11 seemed very important. We do see it here as well with 8 ruler Mars square North Node sitting in the 5th house.

So, in this case I would say ASC - 8h connects, the 11-8-5 connects, and lastly for timing, the POF aspecting its own ruler, Mercury, are important factors.  I've seen many win charts where the POF itself aspects its own ruler and/or its own Term ruler (also see Firmicus Maternus materials for more).

Why such a big instant win? There are definitely other factors that play into this not the least of which is the OLG itself. This is a Sunday afternoon, the last day of 2017, and the OLG has let this jackpot grow in size.  As the instant Poker is a digital game, there can be no doubt that the OLG controls many factors such as the size of the pot and where the win occurs though exactly what/how I have no idea. As well, it is very likely that the player's own natal chart figures into the win but we have no way of getting that information at this time.  From my end, I'm glad at least that they publish win times and locations so I have something to work with to improve my own chances.

Check back again for my next post on one of my own recent winning tickets, and best of luck to you all in 2018!
